Brendan Howe was raised in East Butler and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in converged journalism. Before writing with the Eagle, he was the sports editor of SRU's student-run and award-winning publication, The Rocket, and was a multimedia intern with the Indoor Football League's Frisco Fighters. Brendan enjoys watching football and spending time with his dogs, Ellie and Arlo.
