Last year, the Butler County Commissioners proclaimed Jan. 22 as Fantastic Day.
Every day was a Fantastic Day for our friend, the late Commissioner Dale Pinkerton. So let’s each one of us do something fantastic this Friday.
Do something fantastic for yourself: Take a walk in the woods, go to the gym or read a good book. Or do something fantastic for someone else: Call an old friend you’ve lost touch with, or pay it forward at the market or restaurant. Or do something fantastic for our community: Volunteer at a hospital or senior center, become a Scout leader or become involved in your local government.
Having a Fantastic Day might lighten the burdens of these difficult times.
