Two people were transported to the hospital Monday after a vehicle was rear-ended on Route 8.
MIDDLESEX TWP — Two people were transported to the hospital after a vehicle crash at 2:53 p.m. Monday on Route 8.
A responder from Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company said a vehicle was stopped for a school bus on Route 8 when it was rear-ended.
Northbound Route 8 lanes were closed.
Two people were transported by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital for unknown injuries, according to the responder.
Middlesex and Richland Township Volunteer Fire departments, Middlesex Township police and Quality Ambulance were among those that responded to the accident.
